Most of the characters are based on real historical figures, but the novel is a highly fictionalized action-adventure.

Wynne McLaughlin was born in Salem, Massachusetts and currently resides in New Freedom, Pennsylvania with his wife Cathy and their three crazy dogs. Wynne is a video game designer, screenwriter, and television writer. He is a member of the Writer’s Guild of America, west and the International Game Developers Association.
