About Ernestine Rose: I am a retired teacher, wife, and mother of four sons. I grew up in Chicago and attended Bradley University in Peoria where I began my teaching career. I taught English, speech and theater, then moved to Fort Worth, Texas, working in schools and theater programs throughout the city.
