What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I have always loved small town and western romance novels — I know a lot of cowboys and cowgirls in Texas who come from a variety of cultural backgrounds, and I wanted to reflect that in a series. That's how Park Ranch was born!
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
The characters of Alex and Riley came to me through brainstorming about what it would be like to place people in the context of diverse farming and ranching — a Korean-American chef, and a Mexican-American film producer.
