Mary roams the Goan and Anglo-Indian neighborhoods of Bombay, singing for money so she can feed herself and the child who accompanies her. A night watchman befriends her and offers a chance to get off the streets. Mary seeks guidance from the mysterious visions that haunt her, but she alone must decide her fate.

Read a lot. Write a lot. It’s really that simple.
Author Bio:
Ken Doyle was born in Bombay, India, into a family with Portuguese and Anglo-Indian roots. He moved to the USA for graduate studies and currently lives in Milford, Delaware with his wife, daughter, and dog. One of his early short stories, written at the age of sixteen, was selected for inclusion in an anthology of Indian science fiction. These days, Ken’s writing spans several genres, including literary fiction and science fiction for young adults.
Most of my writing is inspired by my experiences growing up in the city of Bombay, India.
