What inspired you to write your book?
So many wonderful senior dogs are abandoned in shelters that I wanted to share stories with readers so they could become more aware of this situation and how much these dogs need families to love them and to give love to. I also wanted to raise money to help homeless seniors and the organizations that care for them.
About your Book:
Rescue Me Seniors celebrates the human-canine bond and the benefits of having a dog through short stories of rescued older homeless dogs who became our teachers, healers, and faithful friends. These five rescue dog stories were originally published in Rescue Me, and are republished in this senior edition along with updates, additional photos, and quotes about old dogs.
Rescue Me Seniors is more than a book of dog adoption stories. It also includes informative sections on senior dog care and helping homeless older canines (and dogs of all ages) in shelters, rescues and sanctuaries. My book is independently published.

I have loved reading and writing for as long as I can remember and am often found with my face buried in a book or writing at the computer. I have written many articles about holistic health and have recently begun advocating for animals through blogging, social media, and the Rescue Me books.
