What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I became very interested in alternative help for cataracts some years ago after my mother had cataract surgery. Shortly afterward, we began our pilgrimages to the Baskin Palmer Eye Institute to address additional eye issues that included wet macular degeneration, a condition that is often hidden in the presence of a cataract. So her glorious new world of clear sight was quickly transformed into lower and lower vision interspersed with black holes in her line of sight, scars left by the repeated laser surgery to seal the weeping blood vessels in her retina.
