What inspired you to write your book?
Coming across a hedgehog balled up on the path while walking the dogs inspired Humble Hedgehog. Fidget Fantail was inspired by fantails flitting in and out of my house.
About your Book:
What happens when hog meets dog? Find out in the first of two rhyming stories, Humble Hedgehog, when Humble meets Tank the labrador.
In Fidget Fantail, find out what happens when a cat follows a bird home.
Book Genre: Rhyming Stories
What formats are your books in
Both eBook and Print
How do you see writing a book in the Pet Genre as different from writing other genres of books?
I’m a animal lover so to write in the Pet Genre is to write about those close to my heart.
Advice to someone that is thinking about or currently working on a pet book
If you need inspiration, or you’re stuck for words, take your dog for a walk.
How did you decide how to publish your book and where is it published through:
I published on Amazon before I heard about Smashwords. Thanks to Smashwords Quill Series is available in the Apple iBookStore, Barnes & Noble Nook Books, Diesel eBooks, Kobo E Store, and the Sony Reader Store. It’s also out in paperback.
Author Bio:
I live, read, write stories in rhyme, and walk my liver spotted dalmatian, Bea, in Small Town, New Zealand.
