What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
My advice to writers would be to never give up, especially in the editing process. Once you have a rough draft, pick apart every section, and then look for things that could be tighter or smoother. Look at your characters, how do they interact? Are they likeable most of the time? Are they flawed? Once you think you have a final draft, put it aside for a while and then revisit it for one more edit job.

I discovered at a young age that I liked to write. It was mostly because of my father, who wrote so much that he could not leave his study without an avalanche of papers following him. In fact, the only piece of furniture in the study was an old leather sofa. The rest of the room was full of books and bookshelves.
