What inspired you to write your memoir?
Actual experience: The book describes my experience with taking a year off work and spending it in France with my wife and my 12-month old son
About your Book:
The author describes a year off in France through the wines, food, culture and history of Burgundy, Provence and Dordogne. The adventures of a new family whose original plan never included the challenges of travelling with a toddler are intended to show that raising a baby and living the dream, while not easy, can be funny, enlightening and worthwhile. While this is a how-to for all those parents who plan to live differently, even if it is only for a short time, it is also an in depth exploration of what makes France famous for “la belle vie”.
How did you decide how to publish your book and where is it published through:
Amazon and CreateSpace had the right tools and the right price, with no judgments about the marketability of the book. So I went with them.
How do you see writing a Memoir as different from writing other genres of books?
A memoir is by definition something you lived through and the act of writing about it recreates it in your memory.
