Since 2001, Audrey Lee has been writing and sending Christmas in lieu of sending Christmas letters or cards. It has become her tradition to celebrate the season of giving with an original short story for her loved ones. Each one is an allegory that represents a concept she has learned or problem she has struggled with during the year. The catalyst came when Audrey began telling oral stories. Soon, she realized that storytelling was a big part of her past with bedtime stories of Dumbo told by Uncle Doc and Grandpap stories told by Dad. As a parent, she told improvised stories to her boys with their teddy bears, not even remembering that her Uncle used to do for her as well. Oddly enough, it was this new found passion of storytelling “finding her” that encouraged her to actually begin publishing the stories that she had written over the years. “Once Upon a Storytime at Christmas” is the compilation of Christmas stories that she traditionally writes each year during the Holidays, so look for more stories to come. The books, video and audio recordings of these stories are available on her website and Amazon.com. Events with these stories and more can be scheduled by contacting Audrey at: www.profundities.net www.onceuponastorytime.net www.facebook.com/audreyleestoryteller
