Barron is not the type of person who gives up on anything. Not even love. Not even after 116 failed dates. One-hundred sixteen people that rejected him in a span of three years. He still hopes, even if the chances are slim, that he will find love–or at least he will live all his life looking for it.
So when his friend Susana bails out to accompany him on a talk from his favorite author, he doesn’t expect to meet someone–his 117th date. Kade is confident and self-assured where Barron is not. When Kade flirts with him, Barron retreats. Because of who he is. Because of what he has. He has a secret that he’s not ready to share with Kade–at least not yet.
But when Kade surprises him with a secret of his own, Barron discovers that when love hits you, there’s nothing you can do but give in.

How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
This is a story with some serious topics that could’ve gone dark, but instead chose to be funny. It has a levity to it and a kind of whimsy.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Read. Write. Live.
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I was inspired to write a light, funny story after writing a rather dark one.
About the Author:
Charles Z Doilain is a tech professional by day and writer by night (or all the time, in the head). He has a degree in engineering and a minor in philosophy. After traveling around the world, a few years in the American Midwest and stints as a systems analyst, freelance writer, and chocolate connoisseur, he decided to set down roots in the country of his birth and write the stories that have been sitting in his head for years.
In his spare time, he reads all manner of books and graphic novels, writes some more, and does household chores.
