What inspired you to write your memoir?
I am a personal historian who writes books for others. Who is more deserving–inspiring–than one’s own mother. My mother deserved to have her story told.
About your Book:
Leola’s Legacy is a memoir of an ordinary woman with an extraordinary story. Her story is a gift that will appreciate over time. Like the sea, it ebbs and flows with primal rhythms. It is lessons learned, tears dried, joys savored, and laughter that rings across generations. Some flash lightning for a brief moment and are soon forgotten. Others leave a lasting, endearing glow. Through her story Leola’s legacy–a legacy of unconditional love–will live forever
Author Bio:
Judith Kolva, Ph.D. is a personal historian who founded Memoir Shoppe. She is a gifted writer, trusted interviewer, expert researcher and compelling speaker who travels worldwide transforming precious memories into priceless memoirs.
How did you decide how to publish your book and where is it published through:
My family wanted to purchase copies of my mother’s memoir. Thus because traditional publishers take up to two years to offer a contract I elected to self publish through iUniverse.
