“L _ _ _” is a poetry anthology that I put together by inviting poets, rappers, poetry event organizers, etc., to submit their poems on relationships for. It was fun. It’s the first project that I’ve ever edited, and it gave me the opportunity to work with people that I like without charging them for my services. It also let me give an opportunity to so many people who’ve helped me out in the past.

What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Writing is the act of failure. Don’t quit when you are knocked down. Also, read a diverse breadth of literature. Just because you write in a particular genre does not mean that you have nothing to learn from others.
Author Bio:
Bermuda raised, Toronto based internationally published poet, writer, and musician. His first collection, Bending the Continuum was launched by Guernica Editions in the Spring of 2011. The collection was a recommended mid summer read by Open Book Toronto. In 2013 Dane was short listed for the Monica Ladell Award for his poem “Stopwatch.”
