What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
There are so many people in this world who experience sexual abuse trauma. Putting that trauma into words during the recovery process is more challenging than anyone can imagine. I wanted to share my experience in hopes that my words would help others to understand their own experiences. Additionally, I wanted to help others who support family and friends through this kind of trauma to understand the depth of internal wounds that go along with such trauma. My third objective was to give sex offender treatment providers a viable tool for educating offenders about the significant internal trauma caused by offenders' care-less actions.
