What inspires you to write?
I feel humanity is at a critical point in human history to make the ultimate decision of what kind of world we want to live in; a world of love and peace or fear and discord. It is in our hands. Only a shift of consciousness will transform our world and the world we share. And it all begins within every one of us, by turning inward. My books offer the opportunity to begin or expand a conscious shift in a fun and profound way.
What authors do you read when you aren’t writing?
I mostly read nonfiction: Deepak Chopra, Rupert Spira, Neil Donald Walsh, Sadhguru, and ancient texts such as the Patanjali Sutras.
When I do read novels, I enjoyed the following authors: Sue Monk Kidd, Yann Martel, and Delia Owens
Tell us about your writing process.
All my books and writings are metaphysical in nature, exploring the nature of reality. My best time to write is early in the morning, usually starting at 4 am. It is a quiet and dark part of the day which allows me to see the Light more clearly. Also, I spend much time in meditation, nature, and being playful.
What advice would you give other writers?
My advice to my fellow writers is to write from your Heart. Do not be concerned about what others think or say. In actuality, you are really writing for yourself first. And most importantly, have fun.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
When I was ready to publish, I did not want to go through traditional or independent publishers, self-publishing seemed the best option for me. However, I hired a publishing consultant that guided me through the whole process from editing, cover, and interior design, to publishing the book.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
The future of book publishing may go through many changes: traditional to digital to virtual reality publishing. I guess we will have to wait and see how it unfolds.
What genres do you write?: mystical poetry, spiritual, metaphysical meditation
What formats are your books in?: Print
