Salice Rodgers is a wife and mother of three. Born and raised in the south, she loves to spend her spare time writing or enjoying the worlds others have created.
What inspires you to write?
Lots of things. It could be a song, a conversation, a photo and even sometimes a dream.
Tell us about your writing process.
I write out an outline. I have a notebook full of outlines and then I’ll either look on Adobe or Furiousfotog to get ideas as to what I want my characters to look like.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I talk to my characters. Lol. We have full conversations sometimes. Lol
What advice would you give other writers?
Never give up and always believe in your writing. Every story is worth reading.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I have a few that are self published but I am currently seeking a literary agent. I would love to find an agent to work with and learn from.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
There are so many amazing authors and new authors releasing books I’m excited for the future of book publishing.
