About Rituparna Ray Chaudhuri:
I was born and brought up in South Calcutta (India), and my growing up years was very much influenced by Literature and History studies. I studied in Gokhale Memorial Girls’ School and Presidency College, Calcutta. Websites recognized my name internationally on Academic Research as Google Scholar, White Academia Logo with a book published from Partridge International, USA, named Realization (Documents Based on Self-Scholarly Effects with Google Scholar Citations on Selected Works of Shakespeare’s Othello and Hamlet, John Keats’ Ode to Nightingale and a story of Rabindranath Tagore from Bengali Literature.) My work has been explored recently at Oxford Bookstores, Kolkata with my historical book, ‘The Immortal Fly: Eternal Whispers’ published from Partridge International in Association with Penguin Random House, UK. Recently, I have come out with the book Illusion Verses Reality: Based on Reverie, A Collection of Poems for ISC, which is a book of poetry and its analysis published from Kolkata (Calcutta, 24 by 7 Publishers). Apart from Author and a Critic, I am a teacher at both British and English Literature.
What inspires you to write?
I had gone through both literary pieces and fiction inspired by Reality. Creativity, Self form, and History to run simultaneously is more challenging and inspiring than any literal piece of work. However, I have a stern quote to myself: ” Writing is my passion, Analysis is my rhythm, Setting of any idea is my impulse, Literature is in my Blood.”
What authors do you read when you aren’t writing?
I like to read some of my chosen poetic works, some of my passionate novels and stories where I still used to think, ” If I ever can be like them to hold my pen!”
Tell us about your writing process.
Generally, what I feel I want to write that. I am too choosy to write something in particular, as far. Everything what I write and do, together makes me to feel very unsatisfied. Naturally, my sense on thoughts of a book comes out through my innumerable unusual scribblings inside my copy or alike.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
In an excerpt from the book, The Immortal Fly: Eternal Whispers, Ma had her blissful words (as translated from the Bengali Language) upon me.
It is marked, She said, ‘‘I believe from myself, what my daughter speaks deeply on own style is ‘Hence, for The World.’ ” Everything that I write, analyse, and say is innate. I am thankful to God.
As a Fiction Writer, I try to think myself as the character I am building with lots of literary devices and imageries on relationship to different aspects and its dimensions.
What advice would you give other writers?
Herein I feel to be an aspiring author that one must think on writing with Clarity and Correctness, have Patience and Perseverance rather than fumbling only on Consequences and glamour.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
The first book, in 2018, was Realization that was published under Partridge, the USA. At this moment, I had already become a Google Scholar writing in Academia.edu with constant appreciation and acclimation through messages from India and abroad, Phil Papers, and so on. I had thought of accumulating, thus, my scholarly works on the net in the form of a book with a dream, as always, to work both with my country and abroad. And, from then actually my journey starts till now.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
This year I recently finished a book ‘Illusion Verses Reality: Based on Reverie’. Now, I want to touch something different. Let me complete the work to get revealed, then.
