I've been published as Lydia Chandler through Smashwords since 2013. Lydia writes everything else.
What inspires you to write?
Being single and dating!

I hear the story in my head and my fingers transcribe on the keyboard.

I watch and listen.
What advice would you give other writers?
If you want to be even moderately successful as an author, just know up front that this is WORK!
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I wanted to self-publish and when I started Smashwords was the best game in town. The only "drawback" to Smash is the formatting. I hired someone to format my ebooks for me.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
The pendulum has swung from only the cream of the being published in physical book form, to anyone and everyone (including their dog walker!) having an ebook. The pendulum will swing back again because the readers will demand it.
