Hello, my name Is Nylus Stanton. I am the author of the new book titled:
Viral-Marketing Professor: The Best Marketing Is Education!
I was born in Chicago IL. I attended DuSable H/S, National Technical Institute, Washburn Skills Center and I earned my Bachelor’s Degree at Devry University.
I am also a Journeyman Carpenter / Welder. For 25 years I was a carpenter foreman. I worked on skyscrapers, bridges, sports arenas, schools and residential structures throughout the Miami and Chicago Land areas. My children and I enjoyed an ordinary middle class life.
In 2007 my life was devastated by the fallen Us Economy and the profound impact it had on the US construction industry. I was forced into unemployment for years. In 2008 I turned to the Internet, desperately searching for a way to earn a full-time living.
I researched and studied the ‘Make Money Online’ niche vigorously. I found that It would be wise to start an Internet based business instead of finding a job. I completed business and marketing courses at Westwood College and a few online business and marketing courses. I also read countless books on the subject over the next couple of years.
In 2010 I took Phatdash.com (my new e-commerce business) to the marketplace. Although some of the marketing techniques worked well, my Internet business failed miserably! At this point I understood the power of the Internet because of its global reach, and the potential impact the Internet can have on any business.
In 2010 I was desperate, and had been unemployed since 2007. So I researched deeper, I read more online and off-line business and marketing books. I attended Internet marketing seminars and webinars. I tried everything over the next 3 years from one-click software solutions to high-priced expert coaching packages that simply did not work.
In 2013 my Internet business was history. But I was determined to succeed! Because my research introduced me to ‘Steven Pierse’ and ‘Mike Filsaime,’ a couple of highly successful Internet marketing experts who were ordinary people like me at the start of their carriers. This inspired me, I was motivated to persevere. Finally, after more than 3 years of hard work and dedication, my perseverance paid off.
While watching the 1991 NeXT presentation, Steve Jobs (Founder Of Apple Computer) said “The Best Marketing Is Education” That quote sparked a profound revelation for me, It was an epiphany that changed my business and my life forever. It prompted me to compile and analyze all the years of my own research and studies.
I assembled and administered that knowledge into my Internet business with amazing success. Thus, Affirming my notion that the keys to sustaining a lucrative web-based business, creating valuable products for the marketplace and preserving a compelling marketing evolution all resided in the competence acquired by my own studies.
So I adopted the phrase “THE BEST MARKETING IS EDUCATION” as my company’s motto. I am now sharing my Internet business and marketing knowledge with businesses of all sizes around the world.
I know first-hand how difficult it is to succeed at maintaining an Internet business, marketing products or services online effectively. It’s obvious to me why 97% of all that embark on an Internet business venture fail. More importantly, I am devoted to making sure that you avoid the time consuming research and the pitfalls I encountered.

What inspires you to write?
I know first-hand how difficult it is to succeed at maintaining an Internet business, marketing products or services online effectively. Recent case study statistics show us that 97% of all Internet business prospects fail miserably. It was more than 3 years after I acquired a significant online business and marketing education before I experienced any success with my business online. It’s obvious to me why 97% of all that embark on an Internet business venture fail. More importantly, I am devoted reducing that percentage to ensure that others avoid the time consuming research and the pitfalls I encountered.
For that reason, This book was written to inform you of all that is possible with a little hard work, dedication and the help of an extremely effective Internet promotion strategy called Viral-Marketing.!
Tell us about your writing process.
I am a seat or the pants writer. I write exactly what I know will give my readers what they need to take their business to the next level and what will solve their Internet marketing problems. I don’t start from the traditional outline like most of us are taught in school. That’s just me.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I do both. If a character in one of my illustrations is disclosing hidden facts, I will almost always acknowledge it. If the facts `reveal something that I can not verify within my accumulated knowledge, I will perform the necessary research to confirm the facts in question. If it cant be verified, then it’s not factual. So I will discard that from the composition.
What advice would you give other writers?
If you have a vision that you want to share with the world, or if you’ve identified a solution to a and common problem that you can actually render. Just Do It!
How did you decide how to publish your books?
As for my situation, I did not have an elaborate budget. In fact, after 3 years if educating myself in this business, then three more years of investing time money and effort resulting in total failure. I had no choice, self publishing was my only option. Because I’d already extinguished all of my finances. I don’t know much about publishing companies and how they operate, or the difference in the two, with respect to the pros & cons. Maybe in the future I will venture down that road. But until I can compare the two based on actual experience, I can’t offer any insight.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
As I understand it, at one time getting a book published was an expensive and daunting task. Since the evolution of the Internet, self publishing has become rather popular. I believe that e-books are the future, and whatever publishing guidelines generated by future e-book development will dictate the future of book publishing in general.
