What inspires you to write?
People, music and beautiful scenery.
Tell us about your writing process.
I like to flesh an idea out in my head until I can see it working nicely then I can start planning it on paper. I usually just use Word to jot down the outline, even Notepad sometimes. I try to get the first draft done as quickly as possible so I give myself a few days until my draft deadline and I HAVE to get it done by then. I then set another deadline for reading and tweaking and repeat until I’m satisfied with the product.
What advice would you give other writers?
Just do it. Write sh*t on the page if you have to in order to get the words out. You can always rewrite again and again.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I wanted to understand the process of self-publishing a book and I was excited to learn as much as I could about formatting, editing, publishing and marketing the eBook myself.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think digital publishing is the way of the future. I was skeptical about reading eBooks at first but ever since I got my Kindle I absolutely love it. Having a whole library in my hand wherever I go is great and saves a lot of room when traveling 😛
