About Michael Glouberman:
Michael Glouberman is a Golden Globe-winning and Emmy-nominated tv writer. He has written for such shows as 3rd Rock from the Sun and Malcolm in the Middle. He is also the father of four kids, who inspired Mommy and Daddy Want to F%#&.
What inspires you to write?
I have always loved creative writing. I found early on that I had a knack for making people laugh with my writing, which led me to a career as a sit-com writer.
Tell us about your writing process.
It is long and tortuous, with a lot of breaks to surf the net!
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I often ask my characters questions to help me give them more depth and figure out who they are.
What advice would you give other writers?
Keep at it, and revise, revise, revise!
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I had the idea for Mommy and Daddy Want to F%#& bouncing around in my head for almost a year. Then I said, just do it. What’s the worst that could happen?
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think more and more writers will move towards self-publishing.
What genres do you write?: Humor, a little science fiction.
What formats are your books in?: Both eBook and Print
