About Linda Garduno:
Linda Ferguson Garduno grew up in paradise in Pebble Beach, California. She spent most of her childhood playing with her four sisters and two brothers at the beach, exploring the forest, and singing around the piano with her family. She grew up listening to her mother telling stories. She later married the man of her dreams and raised four beautiful children in Fresno, CA where she has taught elementary school for many years. Teaching, singing, and going to the beach with her family are her favorite things to do.
What inspires you to write?
Bringing magic into children’s lives and to allow children to be children! This is a great book that children can learn to read!
Tell us about your writing process.
It was story I told to my children when they were young and then to my students. My daughter helped me when I finally decided to put it into print, to bring joy to children who are excited about Halloween!
How did you decide how to publish your books?
My daughter, living in Dallas, helped me to publish through a
Publisher there.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I would hope that it continues to grow and that there would be more and more children can benefit from the imagination from authors that take them to places they’ve never been. Instilling a love for reading should be every publishers number one goal.
