About Kyra Lennon:
Kyra Lennon was born on the South coast of England, and to this day, still lives by the sea. Fiction writing has always been her passion, but she also has numerous articles on a variety of topics published on prolific websites.
What inspires you to write?
People inspire me to write. I’ve always been fascinated by people and psychology, and I love to explore the way in which certain personalities will interact with each other.
Tell us about your writing process.
I have never been a planner when it comes to writing. I always begin with a basic plotline, and all I really need to know is how the story starts, how it ends (but this is always subject to change) and who the characters are.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
Ohh, I listen to them! They tell their stories, I just write them down!
What advice would you give other writers?
Be patient and don’t give up.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I chose to self-publish because I like having full control over my work. I wanted to do everything my way, from how the story is edited right down to the cover design. I would advise anyone new to publishing to really weigh up what they want when it comes to publishing as everyone is different.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think it’s very bright! It’s great that book publishing is now open to more people than ever before. It means everyone gets a chance to become the next bestseller!
