What inspires you to write?
My relationship with God and His forever presence in every aspect of my life. My experiences along life’s journey, whether good and bad has become inspiring to others.
Tell us about your writing process.
I write nonfiction, prophecy and poetry. There is nothing set in stone when it comes to writing for God. I don’t use any particular software. I keep a notebook and pen handy at all times. I just go with the flow of inspirations as they come and jot them down. I record divinely inspired dreams and visions and write them down and watch them turn into books. I set aside early morning hours to write, as this is the best time when the mind is clear, It is during those hours I can hear God’s guidance on the what, where, who, when and how concerning any writing project I’m commissioned to write.
What advice would you give other writers?
Write what you know. Experience is the best teacher. When you write what you know and have experienced, it makes you an authoriative on your subject matter.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I entered the self-publishing business after receiving zero responses from publishers. I started attending book shows and became inspired to go it on my own. Its a lot of work and is well worth it because I believe in what I write. Self-publishing has its many benefits, I’m in control and I’m loving it!
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I believe books will always be around because people love to read. Technology has come up with so many wonderful ways to produce and read books and will continue to do so. Writers must stay abreast of publishing news in order to stay afloat and go with the flow.
