About Karam Pal:
I am a software engineer by profession and potentialpreneur by heart. I have influenced more than 2000 students and professionals with my keynote speeches in schools, colleges, and corporations. I love to read, ride and watch movies.
What inspires you to write?
I failed in multiple areas of life like business, family, and job. After failing multiple times, I realized that I am making some terrible mistake. I need to find it out and correct it.
I went on to read books, find mentors and do whatever I could to correct my mistake and start a new life.
I understand that I need to understand myself at a deeper level, reprogram my mindset for success and take massive action without expectations.
I started taking little steps and achieved the milestone that looked impossible for me one day.
So, I realized that there will be many people who would like to know, how one can unlock his potential and achieve his dreams? This inspired me to write my book "Unlock Your Dream Potential"
What authors do you read when you aren’t writing?
My favorite authors are Tim Feriss, Ryan Holiday, John C Maxwell.
Tell us about your writing process.
I started practicing writing after reading three books on writing. I started with 5 minutes on daily basis and improved week after week.
I use evernote application to write and save my work.
I used to go office for an hour or two hours and write because I lived in a small one-room set and my kids used to disturb me.
In six months, I ended up writing my first ebook.
What advice would you give other writers?
It is important to keep writing day after day. I learned so many things about my own thinking process, paradigm, and beliefs that were making me a failure.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I decided to self-publish my book because I wanted to learn the entire process of writing, publishing, and marking it.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
Book publishing is like movie making. There are millions of movies but so many more are coming year after year.
Same way, books will be published year after year in a big way.
What genres do you write?: self-help
What formats are your books in?: Both eBook and Print
