About Julie Saeger Nierenberg:
Julie is a writer, editor and author coach, with many years experience as an educator.
What inspires you to write?
Inspired by the journey of love and release through her father’s end of life, she published a book about her experience. Julie writes to contribute to a cultural shift in how we prepare ourselves and support others in the final chapter of life.
Tell us about your writing process.
“Catching the words” as they form themselves is key to my writing process. This means giving myself the gift of mind, heart and keyboard time. Keeping notes about every idea as it comes up is also key.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I wanted to self-publish, expediently, and have used CreateSpace for all my publications so far. I also assist authors to find traditional publishing outlets and will promote my own books to any appropriate publishers in that process.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I’m excited about the many and varied ways authors can get books “out there” in front of audiences. The Internet is an amazing tool.
