About Julie Nicholls:
I am English and currently live in Bulgaria. I love writing and making digital art. I released my first full novel in Nov 2014 and have just released my second.
What inspires you to write?
My fantasies that I have roaming around in my head.
Tell us about your writing process.
As I mentioned earlier, my head is filled with fantasies and usually what happens before I write is I work out the scene in my head when I go to bed. The next day I’ll play the scene and write what I see. I tend to write after lunch for a few hours then in the evening until the early hours. I use word, I hate writing by hand. I also paint my own book covers.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
Hell yes! Doesn’t everyone? *grinning*
What advice would you give other writers?
Don’t give up. Don’t let anyone deter you from creating your masterpiece.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
It was a no brain-er. I wanted to self publish so I wouldn’t have to wait for someone to decide I fitted into their category and jump through hoops to get published by a book company.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think unless the book publishers change their criteria for adding new writers, they’re going to be struggling shortly.
