Joyita Basak is a final year student of B-tech. She wishes to fulfil her dreams of visiting NASA one day. Fashion Designer, influencer and blogger, she has maintained to follow her passion in between her study curriculum. She has her own painting gallery online. Painting is one her inspirations to stay elated.
What inspires you to write?
From very childhood, I have been a story lover, I have read stories from different genre and then I started to think of my own. I wanted to create stories for my readers.
Tell us about your writing process.
I am an outliner, I always try to write down after I sort the plot well. Character sketch is something so important to portray a story well.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I can feel a connection with my characters, I feel my part in them, so I talk to them often.
What advice would you give other writers?
Pen down whatever you think, red a lot, get inspiration from everywhere and live your life!!
How did you decide how to publish your books?
After years of successful blogging, I started to write my own and wanted to publish it for my readers.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think perfect and dedicated readers always read books, so in the area of digitalization also who is keen to read they read. So, the future of book publishing is quite bright according to me.
