I’m a poet, writer, and author with a difference: I write for every one of all ages who believe the world needs words with passion so people can pursue their craft and feel good about what they do. For me, success comes when my readers are as delighted with my work as I am. Praise like this affirms that I’m heading in the right direction:
I was the kid who grew up in the Hollow of Bridgeport who loved to sing and have fun like the other America Italians there. When I turned twelve we moved to the North End of Bridgeport along with my brother and two sisters. Then along came two more brothers born in the North End. Being the second oldest of six children hindered my singing career as money was tight. I went on to join the navy after high school and spent four years doing my duty to Uncle Sam and becoming a man.
My path hasn’t always been clear and times were difficult, however I love people, and I treat people the way I would like to be treated. I enjoy, travel, music, and I write poetry which is my craft and passion. Life is what we make of it and not what it makes of us.
Though I live, work, and play in Bridgeport, Connecticut, I love to collaborate with professionals, consultants, and innovators everywhere.

What inspires you to write?
I enjoy writing and my inspiration comes from God through the Holy Ghost, and Family. Poetry has the ability to entertain, inspire, revive the soul, evoke and capture the emotion of a moment, amuse and educate. The reader can therefore snatch a precious minute or so to read a poem to lose oneself in the imagery and emotion in free verse, enjoy the rhythm of rhyme and meter or smile at the intricate, condensed, clever rhyme that captures a snapshot of a magical moment in time or nature. This is a great moment for me when I get that inspiration to write my poetry down and share it with everyone.
Tell us about your writing process.
When I get a vision or a message in my head, I write it down and then later I expand that into a poem. I do use pictures and layouts on some of my work to give it a visual effect.
What advice would you give other writers?
My advice is to have time alone and let yourself feel the words that you want to write, don’t rush into something, let it flow.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I have been writing Poetry for some 15 years but never published until 2013, I wrote for friends and family as well as articles for local newspapers. My wife was great motivator for me as well as many friends and family. I think new authors should be sure that they want to publish their work, if this is just something to give them a feeling of grandeur and not gratification then I would reexamine my reason for publishing. Writing should be your craft and something that you enjoy and create.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I’m not sure, but I would like to say people should read more.
