What inspires you to write?
I write what I like. I could be doing something mundane and then get a random idea for a book, then I run with it
What authors do you read when you aren’t writing?
There are so many, I’m a fan of Stephen King, George.R.R Martin and Christina Henry
Tell us about your writing process.
I write up the book plan chapter by chapter first, then hand write my first draft. I type up five chapters at a time and pause to edit them. After I do an audio run through
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I think about how I would react in the situation and reflect that in my characters
What advice would you give other writers?
Just go for it. You only fail if you don’t try
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I waited six months and didn’t hear back from agents so instead I published using kindle direct publishing. My advice would be to find what works for you
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think that although the publishing world is built on traditional publishing, the future is about the self published who have a story to tell and will tell it their way.
