About Greg Buck:

What inspires you to write?
I never even thought about writing a book until one morning while walking to the bus stop for my commute to work, I witnessed a milk man screeching to a halt. A coyote stood still in the street outlined by the headlights with yellow eyes gleaming. The milk man stood up and jumped to the delivery step to watch the creature run away. It made me think about what kind of day his delivery route generally handed him. Then I made it interesting.
Tell us about your writing process.
I believe the best cure for writer's block is a bottle of wine. Lots of my writing is done swinging in a hammock near Canon City, Colorado looking at the Sangre De Cristos.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
Both, but thankfully still in my head.
What advice would you give other writers?
Put it on paper and get it out of your head, do not try to be perfect the first draft, that is what editing is for. Also hire a good editor.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
KDP makes the process quick and easy. I chose to self-publish because I wanted the story to remain the same and I did not want to wait a year on a publisher. The only benefit to using a large publisher is for the marketing and promoting.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think the potential is great, the door is open to everyone.
What genres do you write?: Thriller, Suspense, Mystery
What formats are your books in?: Both eBook and Print
