About Faye Hall:
I am an Australian author of Steamy Historical Romantic Suspense eBooks. I have had 16 books published with Venus Press, Red Sage and Beachwalk Press but due to each of these publishers closing their doors I am exploring the world of indie publishing via my family run company 4th Avenue Press.
What inspires you to write?
I take inspiration for my the stories of my families own experiences when they immigrated to Australia during the mid 1800s.
What authors do you read when you aren’t writing?
Amanda Quick and Agatha Christie.
Tell us about your writing process.
I usually start by a rough character plan and some basic plot ideas or pieces of dialogue on paper then see where that takes me when I type it into the computer.
After that comes a few weeks of editing and some input from a few select beta readers.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
My characters usually lead the way and take me on the adventure, though I have been known to ask them what te hell they think they're doing sometimes.
What advice would you give other writers?
It's hard but if you write for yourself you'll always be rewarded.

What do you think about the future of book publishing?
It's a little scary because we live in a world where people want so much for free and there are so many free sites that it's a challenge to sell a book.
