About Erez Bailen:
I was born in Israel and moved to Sharon, MA, USA in 2001. I used to be an avid reader with a great imagination, but now I’m just trying to get myself out there. I have Asperger’s Syndrome and major depression and anxiety, but I am determined to succeed in life and reach my dream of becoming an actor.
What inspires you to write?
The things that inspire me to write are, either family, friends, favorite movies and books, and sometimes the shower, and objects.
Tell us about your writing process.
I just most of the time, out of the blue come up with an idea and go with it. I hardly ever use an outline and I do not draw out my characters. Character names come to me as I write, as do most of my stories.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I do not listen to or talk to my characters, but sometimes I think like them.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I wanted to sell my books and I found a cheap self-publishing website.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
In my opinion, they should make publishing and advertising of books free, if it were up to me that would happen.
