D’narius was once a homeless couch-surfing kid with nothing but a suitcase. Let alone homeless, I didn’t have a permit, license, or a car, so my ability to get around was limited. I was then blessed to have a high school friend’s family take me in. Not long after that, things started looking brighter.
What inspires you to write?
When I was homeless, I began to understand myself and the struggle I had overcame. So, I began writing and pursued my passion to become a motivational speaker.
Tell us about your writing process.
When I get into my writing phase, I like to begin mediating to get the flow of what I look to write. Once I get the flow toward the message I’m looking to express, it’s only wrong to stop writing.
What advice would you give other writers?
What I’ve learned on my journey, is the more passionate you are toward your message. The more you’ll be happy to express it.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I felt that self-publishing would be beneficial toward my self branding skills. To future Authors I recommend attaining a publisher, it will be a lot less stressful.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I believe the future for publishing, will be an industry for the E-book. I personally enjoy physical books but the times are changing.
