What inspires you to write?
life inspires me to write… love to spark a conversation and provoke thought
Tell us about your writing process.
Not a seat of a pants writer, but I don’t sit done until I mentally devise the beginning, middle, and ending of my book. The fun begins when I connect the 3. I tried the flesh out and story board methods and found it a little too constraining. I always keep mental highpoints I want my books to reach and just build around that. But the most important thing is to write without fear!!!
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
a lots of give and take…. but it’s all in my head…. its like I’m letting my story unfold in my head before I write
What advice would you give other writers?
write without fear, write with passion, write until what you write becomes alive
How did you decide how to publish your books?
self pub…I’m a control freak
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
not sure…writers aren’t going anywhere, but the way a writers work is digested is changing as we speak
