What inspires you to write?
The sea has always Inspired me to write. Out in the middle of nowhere when I am sailing across oceans I find peace and I feel inspired to write.
Tell us about your writing process.
Every piece starts with a thought. It is important to have a system to note down everything you are thinking. For me, it’s a small notebook where I list out pointers. Later when I construct the piece, those pointers are ticked off. I also use a software called Grammarly which has immensely helped me take care of Grammatical mistakes, giving me the freedom to just keep writing.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I did not write fiction, but yes, in every blog and every book I have written, I have always spoken to my readers.
What advice would you give other writers?
Too early for me to advice, but I guess there are 3 things you must do:
Write, write and then write some more.
All the rest can wait.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I self-published because I wanted to get the book available with the readers more than anything else. With conventional publishing, that can be a cumbersome process and one which takes ages.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I believe the future of reading is the world wide web and self-publishing. The more you effectively you can create an online footprint more your outreach becomes.
