How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
For one thing, you have to know your facts about the current location you start at. In my case, I needed to know enough about Boston before I could write a good story with the lead character being based there. On the other hand, it’s fun to fantasize about what our world could be like.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Perseverance. There are so many places along the road where you think about quitting. Don’t do it, though. You’ll have something to show for it when you’re done.
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I felt the need to flex my creative muscles.
