The first question we must ask is not how do you get fit but why do you want to get fit? If the answer is because you are not happy with the way you look, don’t beat yourself up over it. Just do something about it and you’ll get there in your own good time.
If the answer is so you too can look like all of those super models you see in movies and magazines then forget it! Don’t you realize that these people are not your average human beings? Super models have the time to spend 2 hour in make up every morning just to look natural. You will never be able to look like they do because models and movie stars are not real. They live in Hollywood, the land of make believe…”
This book is full of humor, insight, wit and wisdom about getting in shape. But being fit means your body and your brain both need to get with the program. So get your body moving, but don’t forget to exercise your brain as well. Getting fit means looking good and there is nothing that lightens a person up more than a smile.
My goal is to help people smile. I write humor and corny joke books, plus I just finished Quirky Quotes – old sayings with a new twist. I am also working on a book that helps grown-ups learn to have more fun.
