What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
The jaw-dropping sight of mating giraffes at the Los Angeles Zoo inspired me to seek out other odd and extreme courtship behaviors among the multitude of species on our planet, some of which are unimaginable even to the most creative of adult film-makers and romance novelists. Based on research and personal voyeurism, I compiled the most interesting fifty animals, described their behaviors, and accompanied each with a cartoon on the topic.
HOW THE ANIMALS DO IT has undergone several updates and has been translated into several languages.

Larry Feign is an American writer, cartoonist and animator. He is the author of numerous books of humor, cartoons and social commentary. He has also produced and directed animation for Disney, Cartoon Network and others, and has received international awards for his cartooning and animation work.
