What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I am a full-time equine hoof care practitioner in Southern Arizona. I spend a lot of time with my clients answering questions and educating them on hoof anatomy and biomechanics. Occasionally, I will provide services to first-time horse owners who are very unsure, or haven't been informed of everything they need to consider in regards to their horse's health and well-being, particularly when it comes to hoof care. I wrote this book to, hopefully, answer a lot of questions horse owners may have about hooves and farriery, as well as provide them with a deeper understanding of their amazing animals.
