What inspired you to write your book?
This story came about as the result of a conversation with two friends regarding what I was getting my kids for Christmas one year. They related the tales of their childhood pet fish stories and the tale of Guppy Butter was born.

How do you see writing a book in the Pet Genre as different from writing other genres of books?
The main difference for me in writing in the Pet Genre is that the settings are vastly different.

I like to write all sorts of stories. Primarily ones that “get you” in some way, either a surprise twist or something that changes your world view.
