What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
The old adage of writing what you know comes to mind. I was a paralegal for many years combined with being an “armchair” detective, I created a series based around murder investigation from a legal defense team’s point of view. Also, I enjoy reading crime fiction and erotic romance, so I wanted to write a book with a perfect balance of both genres.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I wanted a strong experienced female main character who is free spirited and lives her life by her own rules as a result I created paralegal extraordinaire Daisy Sinclair. She isn’t afraid to shun the norm to live her life and pursues everything she desires without restraint in her both her personal and professional lives. The male characters are equally as strong and were created to give a good counter balance to the main character rather it be to challenge her, assist her, etc.

I am speechless. I do not recognize my reflection. The red cloak drapes down to my waist, buttons at my neck, and fans out exposing my cleavage along with a sliver of the bikini top. The hood covers my forehead and shadows my face. All my reflection reveals is a cloaked figure with a gold veil. It is mysterious as if I am staring at someone else’s reflection. There is an unexpected emotion building inside of me. To be able to be unknown, an enigma, for a night is euphoric. I feel wickedly naughty and I like it.
