Today, the OT continues to serve as a stumbling block. To survive as a kinder, gentler religion in the modern world, Christianity needs to decanonize the OT.

What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Find a reputable professional editor. Send them a finished, fully polished version of your work. Take their feedback seriously. For fiction writers, I strongly recommend sending in a novel, just because the short story form is so flexible, I think it’s hard for an editor to really pin you down on major structural or characterization issues.
Author Bio:
Jim has published two non-fiction books. His first book, Destiny Unfulfilled: A Critique of the Harry Potter Series has received positive reader reviews on Amazon.com, as well as a review from Midwest Book Reviews. He lives a hermetic existence, spending his spare time reading, writing, watching movies, and playing video games. He spends his days working as a software engineer.
A kinder, gentler version of Christianity — a Christianity based entirely on Jesus message of love — would benefit all of us, even those opposed to the idea of religion in general. Before it can focus more on Jesus, the church first needs to abandon the Old Testament.
