What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
In over 25 years of working with children with disabilities and their families, I have seen families struggling with the same kinds of issues time and time again. My education and experience as a special education teacher has taught me that while caring for children with disabilities is challenging, there are some "tricks" that can make it easier and smoother. Watching families struggle unnecessarily was leaving such a burden on my heart that I had to do something to help. That's when I started writing.
