How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
My books aim to educate without the reader really being aware that they’re learning. Destiny and Faith often encounter situations that are also learning opportunities (such as meeting a Deaf child), but they also have a lot of mishaps which make the books funny as well. They teach while also entertaining.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Never give up and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it. This is your dream. My other and more important advice is to never, ever stop writing!
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I was inspired to create Destiny and Faith when I noticed a lack of role models who resembled my best friend who happens to be biracial. Twins are always fun and fascinating and the adventures that Destiny and Faith get into are limitless. I wanted to inspire a love of learning as well.

Teddy O’ Malley was born in in Saint Louis, Missouri. She has traveled all over the United States and enjoys learning about new things and other cultures. She has enjoyed studying Spanish, German, and now Italian as well. She dreams of visiting a foreign country. Teddy O’Malley has also worked as a nurse assistant, aiding the disabled and the elderly.
