For as long as there has been Man there has been Zeus and his Olympic gods. They have ruled with fire and might and justice. But times have changed and mortals want their gods to change with it. A new breed of gods, the New Titans, have started their rise to power and are set to take the Olympians’ place. But what if there had been another god, an all-powerful god that was in complete control, even over the Olympians and New Titans?
Xenodiosism is an old, almost forgotten religion based on the belief that there is but one single, all-powerful god, Xenodios. With a growing doubt as to whether or not the New Titans would rule as well as the Olympians had, many of humanity begin to turn their faith back toward Xenodiosism.
Hector Sole and the woman in his life, Aegila Hart, have experienced the wrath of the Olympians first hand and are leery of the New Titans. Hector’s disenchantment with his Olympic gods and disbelief in the New Titans moves him towards Aegila’s faith in the old singular god. He with Aegila’s help spread the word of Xenodios to as much of humanity as they can reach, finding themselves in the middle of a battle. A battle for humanity. Do they hold some hidden key that will turn the tide one way or another?

Author Bio:
Ruth Ford Elward, a story teller of Mystery and Thrillers. “I love mysteries, whether it be solving a crime that’s been committed or finding a long lost artifact that could change the world or how to thwart a plot to regain a kingdom. Another love of mine is thrillers, because the pace is faster and the hero has to be more resourceful than the often better equipped villain,” says Ruth.
After years in the business world between managing a division for an international financial printing company, modeling in her spare time and later to performing esthetic treatments, Ruth decided her real passion lies in the world of writing.
“Writing keeps the mind sharp and gives me the opportunity to exercise my imagination to engage the reader,” says Ruth. “One of my greatest joys is to be able to lose myself in my writing. So my writing ranges from Mystery, Suspense, Thrillers which includes the areas of International Mystery and Crime, Paranormal Mystery, Spy Thrillers and Speculative Fiction to the various challenges of aging in Non-Fiction.”
Ruth lives in Colorado and enjoys biking, golfing and ballroom dancing in her spare time.
What Inspired You to Write Your Book? It’s not what but who inspired me to write. Since most people know Katie Couric from her television career, with her long stint on “The Today Show” and more recently with her own talk show, Katie ‘Talk That Matters’, you may find it strange that I as a fiction author, consider her a writing inspiration.
She may be most famous for writing an extremely touching book about her husband’s death from colon cancer, when in fact, she’s actually written over a dozen books.
To date, Katie has written numerous books for adults and children alike. She touches on topics that most other authors wouldn’t dare. In addition, she’s also co-authored many books on health, fashion, and social issues.
