Me and my designer wanted to come up with something with sort of a classic feel, and we decided that for the first book in the series we should introduce the setting first. Like the opening of a movie. So what is shown is one of the ships that makes up the Circuit along with a a view of a place it arrives in the book itself. For the title the idea was to make “The Circuit” memorable, giving the series name something like a logo.
