Pearls of Pleasure originally had a cover with only the heroine’s image on the front, which didn’t accurately depict the story. On redesign, it was apparent that my hero, a dark-haired, blue-eyed, super-sexy firefighter who’d been seriously injured in a blaze, needed to be on the cover, too. I’m very happy with the end result, which encapsulates the key elements of the book–firefighter hero, the fire itself traveling up his side, the heroine and the hint of sexiness (this is a steamy book, after all, despite the darker subject matter of recovering from injury and trauma), and the mountain lakeside location of their home.
