Hellfire & Damnation II
Cover Designer: Vincent Chong
Comments about cover design
I had a distinct vision for which story (in this collection) should provide the cover image and I knew I wanted the old Victorian-looking coffin. Vinny read the entire collection and did numerous sketches, adjusting each to please me or incorporate my description of the casket. He is a dream to work with and one of the great cover artists in the world (UK based) and has designed covers for Ray Bradbury, Stephen King, William F. Nolan and others. He is scheduled to provide the cover for “Hellfire & Damnation IV,” which I hope to have out within 6 months.

This cover is so cool, it makes me think of dante’s inferno. The artistry is quite something!
There are some great elements to this cover, but the title is very difficult to read. A different font and the same color saturation as the II would make the title stand out more. A different font would help make the author’s name more readable as well.
