Comments about cover design
Like the poetry in this anthology this cover image is both personal, a photograph of the Author by the Author, yet at the same time it is an image of the much bigger and permanent. The brightness of the text, clothing and grass also contrast well with the grey misty skyline. Again this gives an indication of varying emotions that are present in the poetry. There is also a sense of isolation which was present at many times when these poems were written. Finally I chose this image because at at one level it is just simple and uncomplicated, but examine closer and it has hidden detail through the colours, textures and shadows.
